Audio-visual media is omnipresent, everyday life is touched by media at every point, media penetrates every part of society, business and culture. The modern world in which we live is moving towards a complex, demanding information and communication structure. At MultiMediaArt we want to meet this development with our knowledge and skills, critically and creatively.
At the centre of our educational concept stands the question how to deal with creative development and organisational processes while giving due consideration to relevant social and economic requirements:
Courses
Students of MultiMediaArt have about 75% of courses in common, and 25% in one of four majors: Mediadesign, Computer-Animation, Audio or Video.
The programme focuses on giving the students an overall qualifaction in different media disciplines. After a basic multimedia education students specialize in either audio, film/tv, mediadesign or computer animation. The bachelor also offers courses like motion graphics, gamedesign, audiovisuals, on air publishing and space&media. The high quality of MultiMediaArt is shown by the amount of awards that students receive - on average every 18 th day. (e.g. Staatspreis für Multimedia&e-business, Wissenschaftspreis des Bundesministeriums, Diagonale, Europrix Multimedia Top Talent Award, shorts on screen, animago Award etc.)
