Career possibilities

This BA degree program aims to prepare students to be qualified colleagues in their future field of tourism management. They have the opportunity in this program to immediately apply what they have learned to the working world and vice versa – to bring examples from the working world into the classroom.

Professional positions & activities

We prepare you for middle-management / assistant positions at the level of departmental  head in medium and larger sized enterprises as well as for leadership roles in small (family) enterprises. With this academic education, you might be employed e.g. in the following positions / levels at a regional, national or international level:
•    deputy departmental head
•    assistant to departmental head in areas of operation such as personnel, marketing, quality management, …
•    destination manager at a regional level
