3. Upon application approval, applicants located in the European Union will be invited to attend an admissions interview in Salzburg. Applicants located outside of the European Union will receive detailed instructions concerning personal video presentation by April 5th, 2017. They will have 21 days time to complete and upload the video.

If your Secondary Education Diploma and your BA degree are not in German or English, we kindly ask you to see the links "Beglaubigung" and "Legalisation". Only documents which are submitted according to these requirements can be taken into consideration. International certificates will initially be reviewed by our international admissions committee.

Required documents (the name of the file uploaded should say the content):

  • High School diploma (Matura, Abitur, A-levels,...)      
  • Bachelor’s diploma + transcript of records including course titles, credit hours & grades & final GPA    
  • CV (in English)       
  • Letter of Motivation, English       
  • Copy of passport       
  • Current foto

Only complete applications will be reviewed! Exception: In case you have not yet completed your BA studies by that date, you may submit instead a written confirmation from your university with the expected date of your final exam.

Employment: Please note that international students may NOT be able to obtain a work permit for Austria. Contact your nearest Austrian embassy for further information if you are planning to work during your studies!

Scholarships: The Salzburg University of Applied Sciences does not offer scholarships to entry-level students.

Costs & Fees

Tuition fee: Euro 363,-- + ÖH fee Euro 19.20-- per semester

Excursions: Approx. Euro 500,--
