With the International Day of Education on 24 January, UNESCO reminds us every year that education is the key to sustainable development. Education is also important to the film students at Salzburg University of Applied Sciences: with a commercial they point out that 262 million children worldwide have no prospect of education.
The spot shows in a catchy and concise way how a lack of education affects life chances. "Education is one of the most important prerequisites for a life worth living," says director Maxi Stumpp, who recently completed her Master's degree in MultiMediaArt at the FH Salzburg.
The work of the 24-year-old from Baden-Württemberg was awarded a silver medal in the young talent category Future at the advertising film competition of Film Forum Austria last December.
