The support of women is very important to FH Salzburg. A mentoring program for female students will therefore be launched in autumn 2023 with the aim of promoting female careers and preparing female students for a successful career.
Female students should be supported in thinking outside the box and getting a clear idea of their own career path. They benefit from the know-how, knowledge and network of experienced female mentors. The FH Salzburg can count on a network of outstanding women for the programme: FH Salzburg graduates and/or women from the FH Salzburg company network.
What is the mentoring programme?
The core of the mentoring programme is a personal 1:1 mentoring between a student of the FH Salzburg and a female mentor. The program starts in October with a joint kick-off for all participants and the signing of a mentoring agreement. A 9-month "tandem period" then begins, during which mentees (=students) meet regularly with their mentors to work on topics relating to career and personal development.
