Tourism Management is, next to the business administration subjects, a central educational focus in the tourism study programs of the FH Salzburg. The academic area "Tourismus Management" also sees itself as an interface to the domestic tourism industry and as a platform for the exchange of ideas and talents.
The training places particular emphasis on the aspects of hospitality and destination management as well as on the role of tourism in the region. Not only economic fields of action are covered, but also social and ecological aspects are taken into account. The aim is to maintain and further develop tourism as a strong economic driver for the Salzburg region for future generations.
