Retail Career Development Programm

Study and Practice | Business Administration

Are you interested in retail and would like to help shape the future of retail? Then apply for the INTERSPAR Early Career Program!

The Retail Career Development Program offers full-time students of the Bachelor of Business Administration program the opportunity to gain valuable experience in innovative projects with one of Austria's best employers already in their final year as part of their regular studies. You will therefore study with a strong practical focus and gain exclusive insights into the world of commerce.

Specifically, you will complete the following mandatory parts of your bachelor's degree together with INTERSPAR:

All participants complete the practical project in the fifth semester (5 ECTS) in cooperation with INTERSPAR.

If desired, all participants have a fixed internship position at INTERSPAR for their obligatory internship as part of their studies. The content of the internship will be determined together with INTERSPAR based on the participants' previous education and professional interests.

Participants of the program have a fixed commitment for the supervision of the bachelor thesis on a current retail-relevant topic in cooperation with INTERSPAR.

What are the advantages of participating?

Everything is coordinated in terms of timing and organization. Your studies have a direct impact on your career entry, and vice versa, practical experience and current issues in retail become a direct part of your bachelor's degree.

How to participate?

Apply and convince us of your qualities in a personal selection interview!

Specifically, the program is aimed at business administration bachelor students in their 4th semester. It is open to all students from all majors, as we also have specialists from all departments in our team of supervisors. In total, up to five students will be selected for the program in the academic year 2022/23.
