FAQ Erasmus+ Kurzzeitmobilitäten

Short stays abroad (lasting at least 5 and up to 30 days) are also eligible for Erasmus+ funding, provided they include a verifiable virtual component (e.g., an online workshop). This virtual component may take place before, during, or after the physical mobility.

Erasmus+ distinguishes between two types of short-term mobility:

  1. Blended Intensive Programs (BIPs): BIPs are organized as part of a specific project involving at least three partner universities. If you are interested, please check with your department’s International Academic Advisor to see if there is currently an opportunity to participate in a BIP.
  2. Blended Short-Term Mobility (individual short-term mobility with a virtual component): primarily for students who cannot undertake long-term mobility.
