FHStartup and Beyond Bending invite you to an open house in the Premium FLEXGrid pop-up pavilion on the Kuchl campus - a temporary meeting place for architecture, design and new perspectives.
Beyond Bending is a young start-up from Hallein that is breaking new ground in sustainable timber construction with the FLEXGrid system. The patented approach is based on a tensionable grid structure made from regional timber, which is transported flat and stretched into its three-dimensional target shape on site - without the need for complex substructures. FLEXGrid enables expressive free-form architecture with minimal use of materials and maximum effect.
The start-up was supported by the FHStartup Centre and the Department of Design and Green Engineering during its founding phase and is closely networked with the FH Salzburg.
The event will take place on 5 June from 4 pm at the Wissenscampus Kuchl (Markt 136, 5431 Kuchl) on the school grounds of the Holztechnikum.
