To mark International Women's Day, Salzburg University of Applied Sciences is hosting a visual talk with Katharina Cibulka on 5 March. Courageous, grand, unmissable: this is how the artist approaches the topic of equality and opens up space for new feminist perspectives.
Katharina Cibulka is an internationally successful artist, photographer and filmmaker. For seven years, she has been working on the feminist activist project SOLANGE. This international art project uses large-format installations to highlight social inequalities. The messages, expressed in cross-stitch, encourage people around the world to rethink equality and social justice.
