The Software Craft and Testing Community Salzburg, in collaboration with Salzburg University of Applied Sciences, is organising the Global Day of Coderetreat on 6 November. This one-day workshop is aimed at anyone who wishes to deepen their knowledge of software development and further develop their coding skills.
At a Coderetreat, the focus is not on working on a specific project, but on learning and experimenting together. In a series of sessions, participants work in rotating teams on a programming task, exploring topics such as test-driven development, modular design, small development steps, rapid feedback cycles and AI-assisted software development.
The format is suitable for beginners as well as experienced software developers. No prior knowledge of a specific programming language is required. Participants should bring a laptop with a pre-configured development environment and test framework in a programming language of their choice.
