2026
The Research and Transfer Service at FH Salzburg cordially invites you to its Research Day 2026, entitled ‘Beyond the Default: Women in Focus’.
Who do we conduct research, develop solutions and design products for, and whose perspectives have been overlooked so far?
This year's Research Day focuses on women both as drivers of change and as key target groups for research and innovation. Together, we will challenge assumed standards, uncover blind spots, and explore the potential that emerges when new perspectives are brought into focus.
Through a keynote address and a subsequent panel discussion, the topic will be examined from a variety of viewpoints. The programme will also provide insights into the research priorities at FH Salzburg and its "Trampolin" projects. These projects receive seed funding to support and accelerate innovative research initiatives.
