On November 23, 2023 (10 a.m. - 4 p.m.), the FH Salzburg invites students in Salzburg to the "Contacta" career fair at the Urstein Campus. 60 companies from various sectors will be on site at the fair on the Urstein campus.
Contacta offers students the unique opportunity to network with leading companies from various sectors, gain insights into exciting professional fields and make valuable contacts for their future careers.
Best job prospects for FH students
The Salzburg University of Applied Sciences stands for close links with industry and practical relevance in education. The Contacta careers fair, which is taking place for the 19th time this year, is a key element of this success. Many companies are long-standing exhibitors and have one goal: to attract students from the fields of IT, technology, business and media to their companies. "Students at Salzburg University of Applied Sciences are highly sought-after specialists and managers, which is confirmed by the fact that Contacta is fully booked every year," says FH Salzburg Rector and Managing Director Dominik Engel.
Networking as a career boost
The fair opens the doors to interesting employers for students. Topics for Bachelor's or Master's theses, internships and career opportunities after graduation are on offer. The supporting program with a photo corner and CV check are also good reasons to visit the career fair. "At Contacta, I can make contacts with companies in an informal atmosphere, get to know lots of career opportunities and gather tips for my professional career," explains one student.
