Empowering Futures: Celebrating the Success of the FH Salzburg Women's Mentoring Programme

The closing event of the second round of the mentoring programme for female students at the Salzburg University of Applied Sciences recently took place in a festive setting. Together with their mentors, 20 participants received their graduation certificates - a visible sign of nine months of intensive exchange, individual support and joint development.

The programme aims to specifically strengthen female careers and support female students on their path to a successful professional future. Over a period of nine months, the mentees were supported by experienced mentors from business, science and society. Regular meetings focussed on personal advice, career planning and building a professional network.

Special thanks go to the dedicated mentors who shared their time, knowledge and experience with the students. Their contribution was crucial to the success of the programme and the positive development of the participants.

The closing event not only provided space to look back and recognise the achievements of the programme, but also to look ahead and find inspiration. In short presentations, some tandems reported on their experiences, challenges and successes. The event ended with a joint network meeting, which laid the foundations for further professional connections.

With the mentoring programme, FH Salzburg is sending a strong signal for equal opportunities and the promotion of female talent - a commitment that will be continued in the future.
