On 6 June 2025, the third FH Teamathlon of the FH Salzburg took place in glorious weather. Around 30 teams of students, employees, alumni and friends of the FH Salzburg took on the sporting challenge with plenty of energy, team spirit and humour.

Community is at the centre
The team athlon was more than just a sporting competition, it was also a celebration of community. The mutual motivation, cheering each other on and celebrating each individual victory made the day a real highlight of the FH year.
Four disciplines, one goal: pushing the limit together
This year's team athlon once again consisted of four varied disciplines: 600 metres of stand-up paddling in the forest pool, 12 kilometres of cycling, 5 kilometres of running along the Salzach and through the Urstein campus and boccia. Whether you were an ambitious athlete or just wanted to have fun - there was something for everyone.
Award ceremony and ÖH summer party
After 56 minutes and 15 seconds, the team ‘Frischluft Junkies’ crossed the finish line with the four Design & Product Management students Tobias Hofbauer (SUP), Adrian Köpf (bike), Nathaniel Madlo (boccia) and Agnes Danner (running) and took the overall victory at the FH Teamathlon 2025. 2nd place was secured by four physiotherapy students: Robin Gruber, Melanie Quehenberger, Veronika Wieser and Tobias Buchegger. Third place went to Fran Bumbarevic, Martin Fuchs and Adam Kardos (Innovation & Management in Tourism students).
The special ‘Bring your Friends’ competition was won by the ‘Friedhofs WG - Team Helpferer’ team.
The team ‘D.L.T. - We're Dynamite’ with the FH employees Lionel Aßhauer, Alicia Valdes Rodriguez, Michelle Raab and the Rector and Managing Director Dominik Engel, who secured this special classification with the ‘average’ overall time.
After the award ceremony - where the ÖH Salzburg provided a well-deserved drink - it was straight on to the ÖH summer party at the Urstein campus. The sporty day was celebrated with music, food and an exuberant atmosphere.
The 3rd FH Teamathlon impressively demonstrated how much energy, cohesion and fun can be found in the FH community.
