Students from Salzburg University of Applied Sciences are once again among Austria’s most successful creative talents: two projects have been honoured at the prestigious CCA Venus Award.

At this year’s CCA Venus Award, one of the most prestigious accolades in the Austrian creative industry, work by students was recognised among the country’s best projects. The awards ceremony took place at the end of May at the Werkshallen in Vienna and attracted around 1,000 guests from agencies, the media and the creative sector.
As in the previous year, students from Salzburg University of Applied Sciences were able to prevail against strong competition with outstanding creative achievements and win awards in the young talent category.
The greatest success was celebrated by Juliane Steiner and Luise Mistelberger, who were awarded the Gold Venus in the Student Multimedia category for their project “BINGO”. The award-winning work was created in the Film department of the MultiMediaArt degree programme.
Students from the Communication Design / MultiMediaArt department also had reason to celebrate: Bianca Quehenberger, Nicole Köhler and Olivia Stehle received the Bronze Venus for their project “Zeitleisten”.
These latest successes underscore the high quality of creative education at Salzburg University of Applied Sciences and its strong presence within the Austrian creative scene. We warmly congratulate all the award winners on their outstanding achievements.
