A life without kayaking, mountain biking, skiing or ski tours is unthinkable for Ronald "Ronny" Schwarzenbrunner. The Wood Technology & Timber Management graduate can now combine his outdoor activities with his job: As Sustainability Manager for the sporting goods manufacturer Atomic, he helps to make the winter sports world brand more sustainable and thus protect the nature in which he spends so much time.
Finding an appointment to talk to Ronny Schwarzenbrunner on the phone is not easy at the moment - after all, he is in Vancouver, about 8,500 kilometres away from Salzburg. On the Canadian west coast, he is working for several months at Arcteryx, a company from the same group as Atomic, in order to incorporate the findings from his work in Austria into the development there.
