Conference "Digital Transformation and Sustainability in Global Financial Economics" takes place for the first time at the FH Salzburg

The conference "Digital Transformation and Sustainability in Global Financial Economics" will take place for the first time at the FH Salzburg on September 18 and 19, 2023 and is organized in a cooperation of Univ.-Doz. Dr. Tim Alexander Herberger (Chair of Business Administration, Andrássy University, Budapest) and Prof. (FH) Dr. Michael Kuttner (Department of Controlling and Finance, Salzburg University of Applied Sciences).

Digital transformation and sustainability are becoming more and more important in the financial industry as well as in the social sciences and in the public public discussion. This conference serves to present points of view on the topics and empirical findings on the questions issues in these areas. Potential topics are:

  • Innovation (e.g., business model innovation) through digitalization and sustainability in finance
  • Digital technologies (e.g., artificial intelligence) and their impact on finance
  • Sustainability as a driver of digital transformation in finance
  • Integration of sustainability risks in risk management or reporting
  • Responsible handling of digitalization in the financial industry

We invite you to submit already completed scientific papers or exposés (three pages) in German or English for review at michael.kuttner@fh-salzburg.ac.at by June 30, 2023. More information can be found in the conference call.
