Students from the Innovation and Management in Tourism programme organised the New Year's Reception of the Austrian Asian African Association and officially presented the proceeds to the non-profit organisation Moyo Elimu.

What started as a course project turned into a true success story: students from the Innovation and Management in Tourism (IMT) programme planned and organised the New Year's Reception of the Austrian Asian African Association, raising a total of €2,828.50 for a good cause. On 26 March, they officially handed over the amount to the non-profit organisation Moyo Elimu. The sum was raised through donations, event proceeds, a silent auction, and an anonymous contribution.
The event began with a welcome address, followed by a throwback to the AAAA event by Niklas Fuchs. Eva Brucker then introduced the Austrian Asian African Association, before Lorenz Geroldinger and Laurin Lackner-Walz presented Moyo Elimu — including the current and planned projects to be supported by the donations. These include the expansion of sanitary facilities and the construction of a kitchen for the Moyo Primary School, with the aim of improving educational and living conditions on the ground in the long term. The official cheque handover followed, rounded off with a group photo and a relaxed get-together.
