Working in child and adolescent care is distinguished by the combination of specialist knowledge and empathy, as well as the development of individual approaches to care. Course structure and target group

In interdisciplinary modules, you will reflect upon the basic principles of professional conduct and acquire the skills to provide advice and guidance to patients. Course participants will also receive training on basic academic work and research methodology. You will become acquainted with all relevant pathologies and develop individual approaches to care for a young patient group. Using case studies, you will develop action processes that enable you to support your young patients and their relatives. 

The three-semester academic course at Salzburg University of Applied Sciences enables nursing graduates or holders of a bachelor degree to broaden their specialist knowledge.
