Research Team

The MATRIS Science Lab brings together researchers from Salzburg University of Applied Sciences (FH Salzburg) and the University of Salzburg with expertise in mathematics, cybersecurity, software testing and resilience research. Led by Dimitris Simos, the interdisciplinary team develops innovative methods for analysing and securing complex digital systems and critical infrastructures.

The close collaboration between the two institutions enables fundamental mathematical research to be combined with practical applications. Joint research projects and scientific exchange provide the basis for new insights and their transfer into practice.
