Entry Requirements

All applicants must be qualified to study at an Austrian university and must submit a foreign certificate that is equivalent to one of these Austrian certificates as proof of fulfillment of the admission requirements, on the basis of an agreement under international law or on the basis of a nostrification or on the basis of the decision of the study programme management of the national University of Applied Sciences study programme in the individual case.

German language skills

This study programme is taught in German language of instruction. A proof of proper language skills is an entry requirement. For the bachelor programme "Social Work" you would need a proof of German language skills Level B2 of the  Common European Framework of Reference for Languages, CEFR.

Here you can find a list, which language certificates are accepted at Salzburg University of Applied Sciences. 

The Salzburg University of Applied Sciences does not offer any German language preparation courses prior to admission to a study programme. Prospective students have to take care about that on their own responsibility. A proof of your langauge skills is an entry requirement.

Visa

Should you be admitted into our programme, it will be your own responsibility to obtain the necessary visa to study in Austria. We know from experience that this can be a very time-consuming procedure.
