We strongly recommend that applicants who are neither citizens of an EU member state, Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway, or Switzerland, nor hold an entrance qualification or university degree from one of these countries, submit their online application and supporting documents as early as possible. The final deadline for submission is 1 April 2026.
The admission process consists of the following parts:
Online application on the website of the Salzburg University of Applied Sciences and upload of the application documents.
Admission interview (see dates)
Prerequisites for admission
- Relevant university degree (bachelor's or diploma degree) from a domestic or foreign institution of higher education or completion of an equivalent course of study at a post-secondary educational institution or
- Non-subject-related degree with proof of 20 ECTS credits in MINT subjects (mathematics, computer science, natural sciences and technology) and 25 ECTS credits in the field of software development or equivalent project or work experience.
Salzburg University of Applied Sciences (FH Salzburg) requires a tuition fee deposit from applicants who do not hold citizenship or do not have a university degree from one of the following states: EU member states, Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway, or Switzerland.
