Why study a Business Informatics Master's programme at Salzburg University of Applied Sciences?

With a Bachelor’s degree in Business Informatics or a related discipline, you already possess a solid foundation in both technical and business-related subjects. The Master’s programme IT Management & Consulting builds on this foundation and specifically prepares you for leadership roles in the IT domain.

You will deepen your knowledge in key future-oriented fields such as IT architectures, data science and digital technologies, while expanding it with strategic competencies in IT management, business model development, innovation and digitalisation, as well as ethics and sustainability. This enables you to make technological decisions not only from a technical perspective, but also in a responsible economic and societal context.

A particular focus is placed on IT consulting—both in traditional external consulting roles and in internal (in-house) IT consulting within organisations. In many cases, this career path is only accessible with a Master’s degree and offers attractive long-term career prospects.
