Specialized Laboratories for 3D, VFX & Animation

Fully equipped labs for 3D modelling, visual effects, and animation provide ideal conditions for developing technical precision and creative storytelling in a professional environment.

Professional Filmmaking Environment

On 450 square meters, the film production hall provides students with a professional filmmaking setting. Equipped with high-end cameras, lighting, and motion gear, as well as dedicated areas for set construction, makeup, and production work, it offers real-world experience across the entire production pipeline.

Student Spaces for Study and Collaboration

Across the Urstein campus, flexible coworking areas and project rooms provide space for teamwork, idea development, and relaxation — creating an inspiring atmosphere for productive collaboration.

Prototyping Space

Students can experiment and create in the HCI Prototyping Lab or at the Pioniergarage Salzburg, using 3D printing, laser cutting, electronics, and woodworking to turn ideas into tangible prototypes.

The department collaborates closely with leading industry partners such as Epic Games and SideFX. As an Unreal Academic Partner and SideFX Certified School, it is recognized for integrating professional technologies and preparing students for careers in digital media, animation, and game development.
